Astana, 23 June 2025 – World Finance magazine has named ForteBank the Best Commercial Bank in Kazakhstan for 2025. This award reflects the bank’s robust performance, and the high level of trust it enjoys among clients, partners and international investors.

The World Finance jury highlighted ForteBank’s substantial expansion of its loan portfolio, its deep‐going digital transformation and its proactive support for enterprises in Kazakhstan’s real economy.

In May 2025, ForteBank successfully raised USD 200 million through its first syndicated loan, arranged by Commerzbank and Mashreqbank, with participation of 14 banks from Europe, the Middle East and Latin America. This follows the bank’s earlier debute USD 400 million Eurobond—placement. It was the first Eurobond issued by Kazakhstani commercial bank in 12 years.

“Receiving this international award confirms the strength of our team and the validity of our chosen path. We aim to be a pivotal bank for Kazakhstan’s economy—a driver of innovation and growth for our clients, setting both pace and quality,” said Talgat Kuanyshev, Chairperson of ForteBank’s Management Board.

Today, ForteBank ranks among Kazakhstan’s top five largest banks and continues to achieve outstanding growth rates.
