ForteBank Wins SME Bank of the Year – Kazakhstan

ForteBank has won the international Asian Banking & Finance Retail Banking Awards 2026 in the SME Bank of the Year – Kazakhstan category. The award recognizes the Bank's achievements in developing SME financing and expanding entrepreneurs' access to financial instruments.

In 2026, Forte continued to expand its support for entrepreneurs. The credit guarantee limit under its partnership with the Damu Entrepreneurship Development Fund was increased to KZT 102.8 billion. The mechanism enables financing for companies with sustainable business models and growth potential. Today, 72% of the portfolio consists of regional business, with an average loan size of KZT 202 million.

ForteBank also continues to develop digital services for entrepreneurs. The Bank has implemented online document submission and signing, and has automated key stages of the lending process.

The growth of the business segment is also reflected in customer trust: as of August 1, 2026, the volume of corporate deposits at ForteBank reached KZT 2.4 trillion, placing the Bank among the top three Kazakhstani second-tier banks by corporate deposit volume.
